Denny Hampton – The Waterman and His Boats

The Waterman and His Boats features over twenty replicas of boats from the Chesapeake region including an Oyster Buy Boat, a Hooper’s Island Sandtail, a Skipjack, a Patent Tong Boat, several Skiffs and Log Canoes. This will be a one night only special preview on Friday, May 7, from 5 – 8 pm in the gallery. A smaller selection of Hampton’s replicas will be included in Marc Castelli’s 2004 exhibit – Putting On The Copper – which opens on May 15 and runs through June 13, 2004.
