Open House, Saturday 3, 2005. 10-5 with a Gallery talk at 12 NoonSpecial First Friday Opening, September 2 from 5-8 pmOpening September 2nd at Carla Massoni Gallery and running through the month is a survey of artist’s perspectives on the inspiring effect of the landscape. Each of the five artists in the exhibition interprets their varying views with different sensibilities. They use the landscape to understand the larger idea of the environment, and of life itself. None of the paintings are exact plein aire depictions of specific places. They are concerned with visualizing the other senses’ experience. The artists represent diverse regions of the country.
