A connection to the infinite, unknowable beyond is implicit in Wendy’s abstracted paintings & prints, inspired by water’s motion & light.
She has exhibited in New England, Long Island & beyond for 30 years, most recently in 2020 at Cove Street Arts in Portland, Maine, Singular & Serial, based on the book in which her prints are featured. Collections include the Long Island Museum and the Boston Public Library as well as private collections.
She was awarded a fellowship from the Ballinglen Arts Foundation to paint in Ireland, a grant from the St Botolf Club to paint in Rome and honored with the Spirit Award from Maud Morgan Arts, to commemorate her co-founding of the art center, as a Cambridge-wide resource, and her continued service there.
Educated at The Rhode Island School of Design and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, she lives and works in both Cambridge, MA and Peconic, NY.
